Churwalden GR 1229m
Le village de Churwalden se trouve à mi-chemin entre Chur et Lenzerheide et se situe à une altitude de 1229 m. C’est le point de départ idéal pour un bon nombre de randonnées pédestres ou en V.T.T. De plus, Churwalden offre toute une variété d’activités diverses, comme le tennis, le football, une piscine en plein air chauffée ainsi que plusieurs places de jeu. Un de centres d’intérêt de cette région reste toutefois sa piste de luge qui est la plus longue du monde.
Churwalden is about half-way between Chur and Lenzerheide and is the perfect starting point for countless rambling and mountain biking tours. One of the highlights in Churwalden is the world’s longest toboggan run with a length of 3,100 meters, starting at Pradaschier.

The Basis Hostel is part of the Hotel Krone in Churwalden. On the first floor you find double, twin and quad rooms which are suitable for young people as well as for families, singles and groups. All rooms are equipped with shower and Toilette in the room and there is also a guest kitchen available.
How to get to Churwalden
Public Transport: Your reach Churwalden by Postbus from Chur, which is at the end of the line of the Swiss Federal Railways. The SBB provides excellent connections from and Zurich / Zurich-Kloten Airport, as well as the neighbouring countries to the north.For connections check: www.sbb.ch
By car: Your reach Churwalden by car from Chur. Take the exit of the Highway A13 Chur South and follow the signes to Lenzerheide Churwalden.
