Wassen - a small and gourgeos village at the foot of the Sustenpass with its impressive view towards the Gotthardpass street and the beautiful church is because of its central location in the middle of different pass streets the perfect start for various hikes, bike tours and other adventure activities.

You can not just find beautiful hikes but also an impressive environment because of the closeness of the mountains and the river Reuss.

How to get to Wassen

By car:
Take state highway A2 from south via Gotthardtunnel and from north via Erstfeld to exit „Wassen“.

By train:
Take the Train to Erstfeld (from north), to Göschenen (from south). Then bus „Göschenen“ respectively „Flüelen“ to Wassen Post. Online timetable www.rail.ch. For travelling in Switzerland we recommend
rail passes by Swiss Travel System.

By air:
By train (see above) from Zurich, Basel or Geneva Airport to Erstfeld.
